心經 The Mantra : 三世諸佛

心經

... 依般若波羅蜜多故.
心無罣礙.無罣礙故.
無有恐怖.遠離顛倒夢想.
究竟涅槃.三世諸佛 ...

这回要说说
三世諸佛

佛教中说了有
过去佛、现在佛、未来佛
(Buddha in the Past, Present and Future)

也就是
燃灯佛, 释迦牟尼佛, 弥勒尊佛
Generally, Buddhists believe that there has been a succession of many Buddhas in the distant past and that many more will appear in the future; Dīpankara, then, would be one of numerous previous Buddhas, while Gautama was the most recent, and Maitreya will be the next Buddha in the future.


燃灯佛

代表过去诸佛
爲釋迦牟尼佛之前的佛。因其出生時身邊一切光明如燈,故稱爲燃燈佛。傳說釋迦牟尼過去世曾以五莖蓮花 (Five Stem Lotus) 供養燃燈佛,而被預言,將在九十一劫後的賢劫成佛。曾在过去世为释迦牟尼授记,预言他未来将成曾有一次,燃燈佛經過一污水,一個梵志(婆罗门)a monk,用自己頭髮鋪在地上,使燃燈佛不須把腳弄髒,此人被預言成佛,即釋迦牟尼佛。菩萨都曾是
燃燈佛的弟子。
Dipankara Buddha One of the Buddhas of the past, said to have lived on Earth one hundred thousand yearsOne story shown in Buddhist art stupas has Gautama Buddha (also known as Shakyamuni) in a former incarnation known as Sumedha, a rich Brahmin turned hermit kneeling and laying his long black hair on the ground, in an act of piety that the Dīpankara Buddha could cross a puddle of mud without soiling his feet. This story between Dīpankara Buddha and Shakyamuni, occurred many lifetimes before Shakyamuni's eventual enlightenment. From this act, Dīpankara told Sumedha "In the ages of the future you will come to be a Buddha called 'Shakyamuni'. In the 40-plus years of his life after enlightenment, the Buddha Shakayamuni is said to have recounted almost 554 past life stories of his prior existences.

Siddhārtha Gautama Buddha)
代表现在诸佛
释迦牟尼是佛教的创始人,也是我们这个娑婆世界 (
何为娑婆世界有待最后一段才说) 修出来的惟一的佛。
Siddhārtha lived in luxury; his father kept trouble and hard work far from him. A seer predicted that if Siddhārth stayed inside his palace his whole life, then he would become a great king. However, if he left the palace, then he would become a great religious leader. The king did not want his son to become a religious leader. He kept Siddhartha in the palace for his whole childhood. Although Gautama had everything he could want, he still was not happy. He wanted to learn the meaning of his existence. He got out of the castle against his father's orders. He saw the "Four Passing Sights": an old crippled man, a sick man, a dead man, and a holy man with no home. Right then, Gautama knew that nothing can stop people from being born, becoming old, getting sick, and dying. He decided to give up his worldly life. He would not keep his wives, his children, his wealth, or his palace. He would become a holy man with no home. He would look for the answer to the problem of birth, old age, sickness, and death. He left his home in the middle of a dark and stormy night。

弥勒尊佛
(Maitreya Buddha)

代表未来诸佛
是釋迦牟尼佛的繼任者,將在未來娑婆世界降生成佛,成為娑婆世界的下一尊佛,在賢劫千佛中將是第五尊佛,常被尊稱為當來下生彌勒尊佛或彌勒佛。要在数十亿年后才降生地球成下一位佛。

Maitreya is a bodhisattva who will appear on Earth in the future, achieve complete enlightenment, and teach the pure Dharma. According to scriptures, Maitreya will be a successor to the present Buddha, Gautama Buddha

心經

依般若波罗蜜多故,
心无罣碍,无罣碍故,无有恐怖

心經》的第一段

观自在菩萨,行深般若波罗蜜多时,照见五蕴皆空,渡一切苦厄。
意为领悟”大智慧”就会脱离苦恼

依般若波罗蜜多故
般若波罗蜜多加了
在前面和后面又是什么意思呢

他是教我們直接般若來修,不要再兜圈子了,
每一個當下都要起觀照般若的大智慧
,
要按照灵魂的本质去修行,而不是按照欲望去追求邪恶的享受。

心經》 告訴我們,
凡人都是活在無明的心态
執著与六根、六識、六塵之中
這十八界正是凡人最根本的結構,
以這個結構本身來講,
它既沒有清淨,也沒有染污,會清淨會染污的,都是眾生自己執著与這些架構中。

心經 The Mantra : 受想行識 亦復如是

心經

受想行識 亦復如是

色不异空,空不异色;色即是空,空即是色
加上一句
“受、想、行、識,亦復如是”
便五蘊全都說了。

色、受、想、行、識
就是經文里面的五蘊

Sè 是我们肉體 (Our Flesh) 的部分, 
受想行識则是我们精神 (Our Spiritual side) 的部分

佛学的讲解很难了解
如果照字面上來解釋
让我试试看

》是承受、感受承受壓力或是感受冷熱和感受寂寞 當這個感受不存在的時候就沒有了感受》到了就会有《没感受》到就没有。(受 Shòu, is to bear, to feel the pressure or feel the cold and heat and feeling of lonely, if these feelings are no longer relevant then there is no need for it)

》是思想、念头 我们无时无刻都想着今天要干什么當這個念头不存在的時候就沒有了,有想到》就有欲望 《没想到》就没有了。( Xiǎng, our lingering thoughts for something is only our craving in this world of desire, when there is no more desire and there will not be any lingering thoughts)

》是行為、品行
要去嘲笑欺负传闲话责骂诅咒他人當這個行為不存在的時候就沒有了, 有行為》就会错《没有行為》就不会错 (
 Xing, our Hatred, Ridicule,Gossip, Blame,Curse others for our misfortunes are behaviors if we can do without then these actions will not be relevant)

》是意識、察觉看听嗅吃触到的一切只是我们幻想當這個意識不存在的時候就沒有了有意識》就有幻想《沒有意識》就没了 ( Shi,  due to our awareness, we sense the smell, taste, touch, noise but what if we remove the awareness as all things are nothing but our imagination, then our senses are no longer relevant)

亦復如是
在色蕴之后,加一句亦复如是,
《色》 是 《空》的
《受想行識》 也是 《空》的
意思就是《都一样是空》的


色不异空,空不异色;色即是空,空即是色
受不异空,空不异受;受即是空,空即是受
想不异空,空不异想;想即是空,空即是想
行不异空,空不异行;行即是空,空即是行
識不异空,空不异識;識即是空,空即是識

写成
色不异空,空不异色;色即是空,空即是色
受想行識 亦復如是


总结是一句话
色、受、想、行、識
五蕴》 都是 《》的

心經 The Mantra : 乃至无老死, 亦无老死尽

心經
无无明, 亦无无明尽。的下一句
乃至无老死, 亦无老死尽。

无明》和《老死》是十二缘中的
第一缘和第十二缘
从无明到老死
它是释迦牟尼佛陀自修自证得到的真理,
其指从 “无明” 到 “老死” 这一过程的十二个环节

所谓三世十二缘
十二因缘是按照缘起论来对人生进行分析,
它将人生过程分为十二个
彼此成为互为条件或因果的环节

十二因缘可以分为三个阶段
就是过去世、现在世和未来世
就是所谓的三世

Past life, this life, and future life

即成“三世两重因果”
简称三世因果 

Its all about Karma Cause and Effect

过去因》The Past life "Cause"
一、《无明》,指心的无知,包括不明善恶、不明佛法教义,这是一切痛苦的根源。The heart of ignorance which is the source of all sufferings。
二、《》,因为无明而做出善或恶的行为。It is this ignorance which leads to Good or Evil behaviors in our Past life。

现在果》The Current life "Effect"
三、《》,因为过去的行为累积了一定的因果,从而投生于今世,成为新的生命。The deeds accumulated in the Past life are as Karmic Effects in the Current life.
四、《名色》,指由精神要素与物质要素和合而形成的身心。Spiritual and physical elements that forms what we know as the body and mind。
五、《六入》,人在胚胎发育时,产生眼、耳、鼻、舌、身、意的感知能力。Humans are born with the six physiological senses。
六、《》,人在出生后,对外界事物有所接触。The birth of a human, is the beginning of contact with the "outside" perceived world with our physiological senses 。
七、《》,由于与外界事物的接触而产生苦、乐、忧、喜的感觉。Due to this contact with the outside world with our physiological senses, we experience bitter, happy, worry, and joyful feeling。

现在因》The Current life "Cause"
八、《》,对苦有强烈的憎恨,对乐有热烈的渴望,强烈的欲求或渴望,就是爱。There is a strong hatred of suffering, a desire for happiness, a strong desire for love and affection。
九、《为爱》努力地追求。The pursue of Love。
十、《》,今生为爱产生诸多行为,成为下一世的果报。This life has many acts for love and hatred, become the fruit (karmic cause) of the next life。

未来果》The Next life "Effect"
十一、《》,有了今生的业因,而受来生的生命。Absorption of the karmic effects due to the karmic causes of the Past life。
十二、《老死》,有生必有死。Face death and rebirth。

因为十二因缘的每个要素彼此成为互为条件或因果,导致轮回流传不止,所以只要我们暂断轮回链上的任何一个接点,尤其是破除无明,就可以不再被十二因缘所束缚,跳出轮回,
摆脱无休止的生死循环,这也是我们应该参悟十二因缘的目的。

Because each of the twelve elements intertwines into cause and effect, leading to the continuous cycle of life-and-death (rebirth), so long as we temporarily interrupted the chain of any one of the twelve elements, in particular, get rid of ignorance, then one can no longer be bound by twelve elements of karmic cause and effect , and finally get out of reincarnation. To get rid of the endless cycle of life and death, is the reason we should understand each of the twelve elements.
无无明。亦无无明尽。
乃至无老死。亦无老死尽。
过去因的 一、《无明
未来果十二、《老死
无明以至老死的階段如果解除无明老死永远得到解脱了。
 To get rid of  无明》Ignorance and finally 老死》reincarnation is the focus of this part of the Mantra teaching.

心經 The Mantra : 究竟涅槃

心經

... 菩提萨埵,依般若波罗蜜多故,
心无罣碍,无罣碍故,无有恐怖,
远离颠倒梦想,究竟涅槃

这个星期要讲讲四个字而已
究竟涅槃

涅槃》 (Nirvana)
涅槃》意译为《圆寂
功德圆满》叫做《》 (Perfect Virtue)
业障灭尽》叫做《》 (Karma Perished)

涅槃是得道的境界, 而不是死掉,
所謂的涅槃與身體的死亡是沒有關係的。

(Nirvana and Death has no relationship)

因为身體壞掉後,其他所有的執著,
將繼續緣起下一世的生命
(即為受後有 Karmic Effect),
繼續下一世的生活煩惱,夢裡還煩惱就沒有解脫,
因而脱离不了轮回之苦。
而涅槃并是永远脱离轮回之苦。

究竟
是最彻底的意思 (means absolute)

涅槃
是佛弟子共同追求的最高境界,
不再造作新的恶业,
也不再有世间的种种烦恼,
把煩惱痛苦看成無,也就是看成完全沒有,
超脱了生死的境界,
可以永远脱离轮回。

究竟涅槃
就是
最彻底的, 最圆满的, 最无上的涅槃

心經 The Mantra : 般若波罗蜜多心经 The Heart Sutra (English)

般若波罗蜜多心经
The Heart Sutra 

观自在菩萨, 行深般若波罗蜜多时, 
照见五蕴皆空, 度一切苦厄。
When  Bodhisattva Avalokiteśvara was coursing deep into the Prajna Paramita, 
He saw clearly the Five Skandhas are all Empty, and therefore He relieved all of His sufferings. 

舍利子,
色不异空,空不异色。 
色即是空,空即是色。 
受想行识,亦复如是。
Sariputra says, 
Form is not different from Emptiness,
and Emptiness is not different from Form. 
Form is the therefore Emptiness,
and Emptiness is therefore Form. 

利子,是诸法空相, 
不生不灭, 不垢不净, 不增不减
Sariputra says, 
All Dharmas are ultimiately Empty.
There is no born again, nor Death. 
There is no Impurity, nor Purity. 
There is no Increase, nor Decrease. 

是故空中无色,无受想行识, 
无眼耳鼻舌身意, 无色声香味触法。
In Emptiness, there is no Form, no Feeling, no Thought, no Will, and no Consciousness. 
No Eyes, Ears, Nose, Tongue, Body, nor Mind; 
No Color, Sound, Smell, Taste, Touch, nor Thoughts.

无眼界,乃至无意识界。
无无明,亦无无明尽
乃至无老死,亦无老死尽。
When there is no element of Eyes, there shall the end of the state of awareness.
When there is no more ignorance, there shall be the end of the state of ignorance.
Where there is no more death, there shall free from the state of re-incarnations.

无苦集灭道, 无智亦无得,亦无无得。
When all Suffering ends, all Doctrines end as well,
There is no more Wisdom, no more Attainment and no more Non-attainment. Therefore, nothing to be Attained. 

菩提萨埵,依般若波罗蜜多, 
心无挂碍, 无挂碍故,无有恐怖。 
远离颠倒梦想, 究竟涅槃。
The Bodhisattva relying on Prajna Paramita,
Has no Obstruction in His Mind, and because there is no more Obstruction, He has no more Fear.
And He escapes the distorted thoughts, and ultimately attained the state of Nirvana.  

三世诸佛, 
依般若波罗蜜多故, 得阿耨多罗三藐三菩提。
The Buddhas of the Past, Present and Future, 
By Relying on Prajna Paramita have all attained Supreme Enlightenment. 

故知般若波罗蜜多,
是大神咒, 是大明咒, 是无上咒,是无等等咒。 能除一切苦, 真实不虚。
Therefore, through the knowledge of Prajna Paramita, 
It is the Great Magic Spell, the Spell of Illumination, the Supreme Spell of all others, 
Which can truly protect one from all Sufferings, It is therefore the final Truth.

故说般若波罗蜜多咒,
即说咒曰: 
揭谛揭谛, 波罗揭谛, 波罗僧揭谛, 菩提萨婆诃。
Therefore Uttereing the Spells of Prajnaparmita, Saying 
Gate, Gate, Paragate, Parasamgate, Bodhi Svaha.

色不异空, 空不异色, 色即是空,空即是色


色不异空 空不异色
色即是空 空即是色

 对我来说, 是“心经”里面最难理解的一个单字. 念了和研了心经 一年多了, 恐怕还是皮毛的认识. 

依我所了解的,  就是心经里面的 五蕴. 五蕴 也就是人的五官, 即是 能看的眼睛, 能听的耳朵, 能嗅的鼻子, 能尝的舌头, 能触的皮肤. 用 "色" 一个单字来代表人的五官. 

色不异空” or 色不空” 的 异” 以单来看呢, "异" or "異" 是 “不同” 的意思.  

所以 '色“不同”空', 负负变正, 那么“不同 就是指 同样 的意思.  也就是说 色不异空 or "色不空" 就是 色=空

而 色不异空” 空不异色” 也就等于 色 = 空” 空 ”. 到底为何要说 色 = 空” 空 ” 呢? 

这有赖于很简单的道理, 比如说 ” 或 五蕴 或 五官” 的其中一个器官, 鼻子. 如果人不曾知道什么是香或臭的味道, 也就不知道 “味道” 这东西是什么一回事. 那么 鼻子 就没有意思了; 没有了味道就不需要鼻子了, 没有了鼻子也就不知道味道是什么一回事啦. 即而 色 = 空” 空 ”!

色不异空 空不异色
色即是空 空即是色

是说所有东西都是空的. 

人, 从生下来, 因为五官因而对事物的现象一有了知识, 就一直迷惑在其中. 爱看美丽的, 爱嗅有香味的, 爱听动听的, 爱吃山珍海味的, 爱触摸光滑的. 如果不曾认识这种种的事物的现象 就不会有贪念之心了. 

但是 要想想, 事物的现象在我们所认识的世界的确是不能避免的; 而我们也不能阻止身体的五官去认识一切事物现象的存在. 这就要靠人自己的本质去控制五官对所有事物现象一切的诱惑. 

要做到这一点, 谈何容易! 要放弃眼睛对“好看”的东西的欲望和诱惑要放弃舌头对“好吃”的东西的欲望和诱惑要放弃耳朵对“好听”的东西的欲望和诱惑要放弃鼻子对“香味”的东西的欲望和诱惑要放弃皮肤对“光滑”的东西的欲望和诱惑. 要去推翻所有成長中所认识的一切真的是 谈何容易! 

毕竟这些事物的现象就是导致我们迷惑在其中而忘了人应有的本质. 

色不异空 空不异色
色即是空 空即是色

简单的数学 1 + (-1) = 0
色 = 空 和 空 = 色 就是 "无" 的境界.

如果能够尝试 "少看美丽的", "少听动听的""少嗅香味的""少吃美味的""少触光滑的", 应该会慢慢离开事物现象迷惑吧! 不容易! 不容易! 

能够真的体会到 色=空” =” 到 ”无“ 的境界, 就应该是脱离了一切的 ” 吧! 

色不异空 空不异色
色即是空 空即是色

这十六个字, 是潜藏了莫大和深奥的学问! 如果不是恐怕一生也不能真正了解其中背后真正的意义!
